SHIPPING, WARRANTY & RETURNS

Shipping: Merch & Accessories – within New Zealand

Surf by Blank offers FREE shipping within New Zealand for purchases over $120 (enter promo code ‘FREESHIP’ to redeem). For orders $120 or less, shipping costs are:

·       Nationwide Standard Delivery - $10

We aim to have your goods delivered between 2-3 working days. Shipping may take longer for rural addresses.

 

Shipping: Surfboards – within New Zealand

We will be in touch via email once your new surfboard is ready! Your surfboard will be hand shaped in Auckland and if you are Auckland based or able to collect from Auckland, choose pick-up when ordering and we will arrange a mutual time and place once your board is ready to collect. Otherwise shipping costs are as follows:

·       Auckland - $40 (Papakura – Wellsford, but excludes Rural delivery or any islands)

·       North Island – $85

·       South Island - $160

Please note:

·       For all boards 7’0 or over, the price above is based on delivery to your nearest regional depot, not delivered to your door.

·       All shipped surfboards are packed with great care using a combination of bubble wrap and cardboard.

IMPORTANT – please email simon@surfbyblank.com immediately (within 24hrs of your surfboard being delivered) if the board arrives with damage, and include photos of any damage to the board and it’s packaging.

 

Shipping – Outside New Zealand

We ship internationally to select countries. Please email us your address and the proposed surfboard length before placing an order and we will confirm if possible and if so, provide a quote.

 

Warranty and Returns: Surfboards

Surf by Blank stands by its craftsmanship and offers a 12-month manufacturer's warranty on all surfboards from the date of purchase, covering material and workmanship defects. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the order and the decision around either the repair or replacement of the defect of a successful warranty claim sits with Surf by Blank.

Surfboards are not warranted against any damage associated with wear and tear of the board, for example snaps, creases, heat damage, broken fin boxes, dings and compressions do not qualify for warranty claims.

Warranty and Returns: Merch & Accessories

Surf by Blank has a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days from the day you receive your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that you are responsible for any shipping fees incurred in returning your item. Please make sure it is sent back in an appropriate safe and secured parcel, with tracking ability as we will not be held responsible for lost or damaged parcels that you return to us.

Please inspect your order within 24hrs of receiving it and contact us immediately if you believe the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return item, and let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded via your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
